A peaceful, family and dog friendly campsite offering level, well-kept, electric and non-electric pitches, sheltered by mature trees and hedgerows, and overlooking the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Extra facilities added, with more hot showers and flushing toilets, free WiFi, children’s playground, games field, dog exercising area, and footpath to Farley Mount Country Park and West Wood Forest.

Suitable for touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents and rallies. Pre-allocated pitches ensure friends and family groups can pitch together, families with children can be nearer the play areas and adults without children can be in a quieter spot. Three local pubs serve home cooked food in the surrounding villages of Sparsholt, Littleton and Crawley (this one’s 15 minutes’ walk away). Barbeques and firepits welcome, bricks provided to prevent scorching the grass. Firepit hire & log bags for sale onsite.

Ideally situated to visit Winchester (10 minutes’ drive) and its many historic attractions, such as the medieval Cathedral, the ruins of Wolvesey Castle, the working 18th-century corn mill, Jane Austen’s house, and the Great Hall of Winchester Castle with King Arthur’s round table. Why not take a stroll along the beautiful water meadows of the River Itchen to England's oldest and most perfect Almshouses and the Hospital of St Cross, before ascending St Catherine’s Hill, a dramatic chalk hill and Iron Age Hill Fort, with a mizmaze for the kids, and stunning views over the city of Winchester. Enjoy bustling shopping streets, restaurants, summer festivals, markets and family friendly open-air events such as the Hat Fair. The South Downs Way Walking Route and The King Alfreds Way Cycle Route also begin in Winchester. Other local attractions include the Winchester Science Museum and Planetarium, ClueCapers Escape Rooms, the Watercress Steam Railway, the National Trust properties and grounds of Mottisfont Abbey and Hinton Ampner, the beautiful Hillier Gardens, and Poulton’s award winning family theme park with Peppa Pig World.

Close by is the market town of Stockbridge (5 minutes’ drive) with its pretty high street, tea rooms and National Trust nature reserves and walks. The New Forest National Park is within easy reach, with its free roaming ponies, scenic walks and cycle routes, as is Stonehenge (both only 25 minutes’ drive away).

Keen to invest in our wildlife, increase our biodiversity and reduce our carbon footprint, we have planted hundreds of native trees and hedge plants and are planning a new wildflower meadow.
